Stephen Strasburg tested his injured lat by throwing a bullpen session today and manager Davey Johnson told reporters that the right-hander felt good enough that trainers have cleared him to rejoin the Nationals’ rotation Sunday.

That would mean missing the minimum 15 days for Strasburg, who had a 2.54 ERA and 73/21 K/BB ratio in 74 innings before the injury.

Ross Detwiler is off the disabled list and starting this afternoon, so Strasburg returning Sunday would put the Nationals’ rotation back at full strength.

Over 2 hours and no comments?

Oh that’s right… The Nats suck and the bandwagon is all but empty.

And really? Who gives a fuck when Prior is coming back?

    Oops. Meant Strasburg.

Wow, you are so insightful. You should totally write for HBT. Your eloquence is unrivaled.

Perhaps you should take a nap to get the bitterness out of your mouth, or drink a warm glass of milk.

      Oops! I touched a nerve!

Must be one of those noobs who went out and purchased a season ticket plan after last year…

The nats do very much suck this year. Why is strassburg considered a number one starter. He has decent stuff but he is babied and is always injured. Did I mention that nats do suck?
