Clay Buchholz was scratched from today’s start due to neck discomfort. But he will throw today, reports Sean McAdam of CSNNE.com. If he feels good, he’ll likely make his next start. If not, it’s disabled list time and Allen Webster or Rubby De La Rosa will take his place.

Buchholz leads the majors with a 1.71 ERA and is second behind Max Scherzer for the A.L wins lead with nine.

I hope that he is OK as he is the only decent starting pitcher that I have left on my fantasy team. On the other hand, as a Jays fan, I would love to see Webster get a couple of more Major League starts.

I guess from the thumbs downs, that some people hope that he goes on the DL.

Nah, I think they just hope your fantasy team bites it.

        Stop using the royal “they”.

We had a war to get rid of the royals, that is a democratic “they”….besides, I couldn’t say “we” as I didn’t thumb it.

You failed miserably. There is a baseball team in the “Show Me State” called The Royals.

Yeah, and everybody else still kicks their asses, just for nostalgia.

        Weak! Very weak!

        P-Can

Man, this is fun. Hehe, P-Can, that’s nuts….or a toilet. Hehe.

Are you thinking of a Vegas style Royal Flush?

Sox fans can’t wait to see Webster in the big show as well…in 2014.

Kid needs a bit more seasoning in Pawtucket.

Still, if he was on the Jays he would easily be the second best pitchrer on that sorry, last place staff.

A feeble attempt at humor kind sir.
