Yoenis Cespedes has his third multi-homer game of the month

Too bad the Athletics aren’t talented and stuff. Imagine what they’d do if they had talent to go with all that chemistry!

Oh, wait, they do have talent. One of their more talented player is Yoenis Cespedes. He flashed some of that talent last night, hitting two homers and knocking in four runs in last night’s win over the Mariners.

While Cespedes has struggled overall this month — likely due to a wonky hamstring — he has hit two homers in three games since the calendar turned to June. Encouraging, however, is the fact that he played in left last night rather than DHing, which suggests that his leg is getting better.

The Craig Calcaterra supreme troll lord character was pretty cute for a long time, but I think he’s running out of material.

Craig, why don’t you do your job – relaying topical information in a coherent manner – and if its appropriate, you may slip in some trolling. You seem to focus on the latter first, then figure out which factoids you’re going to write down to validate your paycheck. I’m not an A’s fan, butt-hurt over your comments. I’m just a reader who generally likes your material, but I think you need to remember what you actually write for.
