One month after being activated from the disabled list Red Sox left-hander Franklin Morales is going back on the shelf with more pectoral muscle problems, according to Alex Speier of WEEI.com.

Morales appeared in just six games between DL stints, throwing 12 innings with a 7.30 ERA and 11/9 K/BB ratio.

He aggravated the injury during Saturday’s game, in which he allowed four runs in 2.1 innings following three straight scoreless appearances.
