Luke Scott’s brother is … interesting

Jul 1, 2013, 5:05 PM EDT

What I wouldn’t give to be invited to a Scott Family Thanksgiving:

  1. specialkindofstupid - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:13 PM

I refuse to make fun of the man on the grounds he looks like someone who could break tree limbs over his knee.

    • Caught Looking - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:58 PM

      Isn’t he on Duck Dynasty?

      • APBA Guy - Jul 1, 2013 at 6:56 PM

That guy’s huge. He ate the guys on Duck Dynasty!

  2. rollinghighwayblues - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:13 PM

Shoe-in cast member for the next movie involving Vikings.

    • mgflolox - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:28 PM

I think they already used his likeness for Stoic The Vast in “How To Train Your Dragon”.

    • bigharold - Jul 1, 2013 at 8:23 PM

      Or Capital One commercial?

  3. pjmitch - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:13 PM

Wasn’t he in Lord of the Rings?

  4. chacochicken - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:16 PM

I’m really surprised that Luke hasn’t confused him with a boar.

  5. stlouis1baseball - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:25 PM

Dude appears to be one large Mammal.

  6. historiophiliac - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:25 PM

I’ve always thought that Donald Sutherland’s family must have an interesting Thanksgiving get-together.

  7. Paul White - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:27 PM

On a related note…. Please tune in to an all new episode of Mountain Men, Sundays at 9/8 Central. Only on History.

    • paperlions - Jul 1, 2013 at 6:38 PM

My god that show is zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. What a bunch of whiny dudes. Mountain men my ass.

      • historiophiliac - Jul 1, 2013 at 7:18 PM

Wait, there actually is such a show? You have watched it?

      • paperlions - Jul 1, 2013 at 7:22 PM

Yes, there is. Yes, I have. Don’t think I’ve made it through an entire episode. Boring guys, whining about things being hard when it is the life they chose.

They are no Jeremiah Johnson, that’s for sure.

      • historiophiliac - Jul 1, 2013 at 7:28 PM

You don’t ever get to make fun of me watching Mad Men. Ever.

      • paperlions - Jul 1, 2013 at 7:34 PM

        Sure I do….though, I don’t think I have, yet.

I thought it could be interesting with potentially nice photography and educational. Not so much.

You can make fun of me for watching Mudcats or Duck Dynasty if you want. Those shows crack me up, and I just enjoy people that enjoy being themselves….which people on those shows do.

      • historiophiliac - Jul 1, 2013 at 7:37 PM

Oh, I will. Do you watch the Real Housewives too?

      • paperlions - Jul 1, 2013 at 7:41 PM

I have no idea what that is.

      • historiophiliac - Jul 1, 2013 at 7:42 PM

        Liar.

  8. tanzkommandant - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:28 PM

Luke Scott is evil because he disagrees with the policies of the current administration.

    • chacochicken - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:42 PM

Yeah, I doubt that he even understands the policies of the current administration. He thinks the president is a foreign born muslim and it is a great idea to keep a loaded gun between his couch cushions. He also continuously warned his “friend” Felix Pie to not act like an animal or savage because if not warned otherwise, the dark skinned races are prone to barbarism.

Funny, he doubts the obvious and verifiable relatively recent birth of the president but completely takes on faith a far more dubious virgin birth some 2000 years ago. Why do these things always seem to go together?

      • jrfolsom - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:54 PM

The president is a foreign born Muslim. His “birth certificate” has been verified as a fake by several credible experts. Understanding his policies is very simple. They are anti-capitalist and anti-American, not to mention anti-white, anti-Christian, pro-Muslim, Pro-marxist, and pro-radical leftist wacko. Not that difficult.

      • historiophiliac - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:58 PM

        LMAO!

      • chacochicken - Jul 1, 2013 at 6:07 PM

I’m not going to spend a moment defending the current president but everything you just said is, quite frankly, crazy and we can smell our own. Barack Obama is slightly to the left of Richard Nixon. I’m sure Tricky Dick is rolling over in his grave knowing that if he were president today he could use drones to start marking off his enemies list.

      • historiophiliac - Jul 1, 2013 at 6:16 PM

Don’t you love it when the crazies force Scalia to defend the President? I think an angel gets his/her wings each time. <3

      • eightyraw - Jul 1, 2013 at 6:21 PM

        “Several credible experts”

This made my day. Thank you.

      • diditforthelulz1 - Jul 1, 2013 at 9:00 PM

@ jrfolsom, what is your take on the theory of relativity?

    • 18thstreet - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:54 PM

I’m going on a limb and say that five-year period without a haircut has something to do with Obama’s election five years ago.

      Prove me wrong.

      • genericcommenter - Jul 1, 2013 at 6:59 PM

Yes, because Obama set out to destroy this country from the roots to the tip!

      • yahmule - Jul 1, 2013 at 9:44 PM

        Hairesy!

    • indaburg - Jul 2, 2013 at 5:52 AM

Of course, one can disagree. I disagree with policies of the current administration too. You just can’t be crazy and illogical, like Luke Scott. Scott wears the crazy like a Vegas showgirl wears feathers though. It suits him.

  9. jerze2387 - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:31 PM

Who would have ever guessed the pro athlete in the family was the considerably smaller sibling.

    • indaburg - Jul 2, 2013 at 5:48 AM

      That is an excellent point.

I’d frankly fear for my life at a Luke Scott Thanksgiving dinner, lest I open my mouth.

      • Jonny 5 - Jul 2, 2013 at 8:19 AM

So much for you and Scott getting hitched now. I’m afraid a baby from that bloodline may be apt to consume it’s mother by the third trimester. I think this guy could put a hurting on Andre the giant in his prime. Are those size 19 sneakers?

      • indaburg - Jul 2, 2013 at 10:30 AM

The thought of Luke Scott impregnating me is so nauseating I think I shall vomit.

  10. pinkfloydprism - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:40 PM

Wow… Luke got the short end of that stick.

  11. historiophiliac - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:45 PM

PS Dude needs some Mane & Tail.

  12. waiverclaim - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:48 PM

At least we all know why Luke Scott says anything he wants, if he grew up with that man mountain standing behind him, he’s probably never been told “no” or “you’re wrong” in his life!

  13. jrfolsom - Jul 1, 2013 at 5:50 PM

That guy can do whatever he wants. He is a big, big scary dude

  14. sabatimus - Jul 1, 2013 at 6:10 PM

With that hair, he could replace Johan Hegg in Amon Amarth.

  15. paperlions - Jul 1, 2013 at 6:40 PM

With the exception that he doesn’t trim his beard shorter in the summer, I don’t see what is so “interesting”. Just looks like a normal dude to me…a little tall though.

    • historiophiliac - Jul 1, 2013 at 7:21 PM

I hope you condition though. Down or ponytail?

      • paperlions - Jul 1, 2013 at 7:24 PM

Ponytail mostly, otherwise it is always in the way. Yeah, I use Pantene products, a GF used it and thew away my shitting shampoo and conditioner and I just never changed.

      • historiophiliac - Jul 1, 2013 at 7:28 PM

I like braids too. On dudes, I mean.

  16. illegalblues - Jul 1, 2013 at 7:16 PM

LMAO at the whacko right wing talk here. keep it comin’ guys. tell me more about the birth certificate. tell me more about the pro-marxist policies. especially tell me more about the obvious anti-white stuff too. that’s my favorite.

  17. yahmule - Jul 1, 2013 at 8:13 PM

I like this guy, but he’s not cool enough to unseat Fabio as my long hair role model.

  18. diditforthelulz1 - Jul 1, 2013 at 8:29 PM

Whoa, did he eat the entire country of Kenya?

  19. thomas844 - Jul 1, 2013 at 8:50 PM

He’s the new spokesman for Dr. Pepper 10

  20. ramblingalb - Jul 1, 2013 at 9:16 PM

If only he was a nerdy looking lawyer, he’d be above making fun of.

Craig’s as predictable as they come.
