HBT Daily: Really lookin’ forward to the weekend, you guys

Jul 19, 2013, 1:02 PM EST

Yankees-Red Sox, Rays-Jays, Dodgers-Nats. Baseball is finally back. This time it really counts.

I was so excited for the return of baseball, and then I checked the schedule. Royals. Blacked out. Dammit! Ok, O’s — playing the Rangers. Blacked out. Dammit! I guess I settle for watching the BloSox and rooting for them to lose….and tomorrow I watch today’s game. Sigh.

Maybe you should root for better teams ;)

      • historiophiliac - Jul 19, 2013 at 1:27 PM

Honey, all the D has is good…dammit!

      • spudchukar - Jul 19, 2013 at 1:36 PM

Does the “D” stand or debt?

I’m making over $7k a month working part time. I kept hearing other people tell me how much money they can make online so I decided to look into it. Well, it was all true and has totally changed my life. This is what I do… Day37.ℂℴM

        Fuck off.

  2. El Bravo - Jul 19, 2013 at 1:22 PM

I’ll be watching Huddy face Stanky Danky in the Cell tonight to kick off the second “half”. I’m hoping a wounded Bravos squad is still superior to those South Side Hitmen, but we shall see.

Baseball is infinitely better than no baseball.
Not the hottest matchup, but Sunday we’ll see Lee vs Harvey, but Oswalt is on the DL, so no third shot from any direction.

    • fanofevilempire - Jul 19, 2013 at 6:18 PM

Lee is a real douche bag, he didn’t tip his cap and had a dumb a–ss look on his
face during the allstar introductions, glad he never got a ring, what a donkey!

  4. spudchukar - Jul 19, 2013 at 2:13 PM

The series that deserve the most attention is the Cincinnati/Pittsburgh one.

    • historiophiliac - Jul 19, 2013 at 2:50 PM

I bet that is a good one.

      • spudchukar - Jul 19, 2013 at 3:12 PM

Yeah, it is frustrating being a fan and living in the Central Division, but you know all about that.

Someone comes to these comments only to click the thumbs down. That is sad. [click]

    • fanofevilempire - Jul 19, 2013 at 6:22 PM

I think they usually go with what others are doing, if it’s thumbs up they go with
the crowd, thumbs down, same thing. I doubt they even read the post.

This time it really counts? Goody. That means the Astros and Marlins go back to 0-0 records, right?
