Evan Brunell is a super nice guy I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and is a great baseball writer too.  He also happens to be hearing impaired and thus is a good lip-reader. He applied this skill to some video of manager-umpire arguments and the results are over at Deadspin.

Obviously there are TONS of naughty words in this, so if you work someplace that doesn’t like you clicking to things with naughty words — or if random F-bombs make you retreat to your fainting couch — you may want to move along.

The rest of us can use the post for argument tips.

I imagine all Charlie Manuel arguments have a “Dar Horsefeathers” in them.

Warning: Incredibly disturbing version of “Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting) ahead”.

I like the one with John Gibbons where he is saying to the ump “Have some mercy!! AA put this terrible team together and the front office actually thinks im going to win with this rotation!! I need all the calls to go my way just to have a shot at .500!!!” Funny stuff man

Please Harry…I gotta’ know. Where you attacked by a family of Blue Jays?
That’s the word on the street anyway.
It would explain your stalking of all things Blue Jays related.
