Awesome play. Look’s like if Rafael Soriano had a kid brother too.

Didi better watch it. That play was too slick. Too much with the talent and athletic ability. What he needs to do is Jeter that play so Kirk Gibson is happy with him. Basically to Jeter it, you run (kinda) in the direction of the ball, leap (carefully), allow the ball to pass under your glove (grimace as it does so), roll about three times (gotta get lots of grit on that uniform), and then glare at your third baseman for not backing you up.

All joking aside, not only does he have the Best Name In Baseball, but the kid can play short pretty good, too.

That sent his WtW levels through the roof.

I was lucky enough to be in Phoenix last night (for a conference), so I was actually at the game. Nice stadium, kind of a quiet crowd, but an overall good experience. Note to Chase Field: better beer selection.

Didi had a number of nice plays last night. I think the double play that helped end the game was even slicker than this one.
