Tim Hudson expects to be healed by December

Tim Hudson‘s  ankle injury was horrific, but the Braves starter’s healing is going just fine. He went on MLB Network Radio today and said that he’s going to be ready for spring training next season and that “we’re looking at being totally healed from this thing at the end of November or beginning of December.”

Where that spring training happens to be is an interesting question, as he is a free agent after this season. He has suggested in the past that he’d like to stay in Atlanta. If so, given his health, age and the numerous starting pitcher options the Braves have in house already, it would likely have to be on a one-year incentive-laden deal.

He includes his wife and family into everything he does. He is a very classy person, they do a lot of charity work. Great guy, great wife, great family.

And he’ll always be able to tell when it’s about to rain.

We ,Braves fans as a whole are very luck to have such a wonderful, classy ballplayer on our team. Not to mention one of the best pitchers of the last decade. No matter what we have to do I very much want to see Huddy in a Braves uniform next year!!!! Get well soon Tim and thanks for all you have given us.

This is going to be a really tough decision for Frank Wren. We have so much good young talent in our rotation but I love having Huddy in there. All these injuries we’ve had the past two years show you can never have too much pitching, but what do you do with all of them in the meantime?

But whether he stays here or ends up elsewhere I hope he recovers quick and keeps being a stud.
