A Barry County jury today found former Major Leaguer Chad Curtis guilty of sexually assaulting three teenage girls. John Tunison of Michigan Live reports that there were six charges of criminal sexual conduct in total, including second-, third-, and fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. He faces a maximum of 15 years in prison.

Curtis spent ten years in the Majors from 1992-2001, wearing the hats of the Angels, Tigers, Dodgers, Indians, Yankees, and Rangers. He is most well-known for hitting two home runs in Game Three of the 1999 World Series. As Craig noted on Tuesday, Curtis was also known to have alienated several teammates due to his religious beliefs.

His turn to be sexually assaulted, in the big house. What goes around, comes around!

Chad has a look on his face like crap I ruined my life. He actually volunteered at the school so he planned to do these crimes.

You think A-Rod is the scum of the Earth and then you realize it gets a whole lot worse than him.

And this story will be dead, really soon. The last we’ll probably ever hear of it is when he gets sentenced. Priorities…

Why compare the two? Are these cases somehow related? I would expect such a nonsensical statement for PED apologists like Craig. Curits is getting what he deserves.

Think now he’ll talk to Jim Gray?

It’s so classic and makes PERFECT sense that he was super religious. 9 times out of 10 The louder people are about God, the less trustworthy they are.

Never let a fundamentalist get behind you.

      Or in front of you.

      Or beneath you.

Or on top of you….unless you happen to be Glen Rice.

Good. Lock this disgusting human being up for the maximum. He deserves it.

Hope you like the taste of prison food, and penis!

Chris Hansen should do a jailhouse interview.

    LOL!

I’m guessing he won’t be calling Armando Benitez as a character witness during the sentencing phase…

No worries. Still HOF eligible! At least he wasn’t gambling.

One of his victims testified that he asked her to pray with him immediately after molesting her in a windowless training room. Incredibly twisted stuff.

There is absolutely no reason for a male coach to be alone with a female athlete or to be administering massages.

His career ended when he was 32. If he wasn’t such an insufferable presence in the clubhouse, he probably could have played a couple more years as a fourth OF.

Ironic that this is the guy who was calling other players deviants for exploits with consenting, adult road beef.

    Good luck in the joint.

Well, this is one way to start a prison ministry. I’d prefer Tony Dungy’s way, though — you know, where you get to come and go as you please.

Hey Chad, ever heard the phrase, “The pot calling the kettle black” you should have practiced what you preached when you were calling out other players for whoring around on the road. I’ll bet they weren’t asking teenage girls to pray with them after they molested them. Enjoy the joint, you’ll likely be there a while.

Here’s ANOTHER case of a loser with religious hangups to cause havoc on the community.

Give this EFF-UP the whole 15 years!
