It’s not a crazy-special club — we’re not talking Barry Bonds territory here — but round number-lovers among you will enjoy noting that last night Shin-Soo Choo joined the 100-100 club, hitting his 100th homer.

He topped the century mark in stolen bases on Sunday when he snagged two, giving him 101 for his career.

Choo will be a free agent this offseason. Not too many guys with his power, speed and on-base ability will be available. I presume he’s gonna make a mint.

I doubt that he will make a mint, but he will be able to buy a lot of mint ice cream and mint chocolates.

I don’t know about that P.C. But I definitely know Derek Drouin is a stud.

Without looking at the article or his bbref page, I was going to guess he was in the 100 hits + 100 walks club. Still a few walks short but well within his grasp.

I like Choo a lot, but he is a horrible base runner.

Shane Victorino did the same thing last night too. He hit his 100 career homer and already had 100 plus sb.

He is an on base machine…

The whole point of batting is to get on base…

Among all active players in MLB, he has the 10th highest career on base percentage.

If one doesn’t include Manny being Manny, Jason Giambi, Lance Berkman & Todd Helton anymore, he’s in 6th place currently for active player…
