Cuban Infielder Alexander Guerrero hires Scott Boras

Sep 16, 2013, 5:01 PM EST

A week ago it was reported that big hitting Cuban infielder Alexander Guerrero was close to signing with the Dodgers. He hasn’t signed yet and now he’s hired Super Agent Scott Boras. Who says that the bidding window is open to everyone:

That’s the thing about Boras. He’s all about fairness and opportunity for everyone who might give his clients money. He’s the most American of the agents in that way.

Anyway, the Dodgers’ reported offer was $32 million. Gonna have to do better than that if you want Guerrero now.

He chose Boras when he could have been represented by a famous rapper? What gives?

Boras and the Blue Jays? Not very likely.

I don’t think so. The Dodgers (obviously), Twins, Reds, and Braves were showing interest before. I don’t see why the Blue Jays would start now.

Dodgers will still get him–it might just cost a bit more now

So your Auntie “Quinn” got a new Mercedes? I just seen a few minutes ago that your step-mom got a Nissan 370Z. And all for working part-time? Wow I am in the wrong line of work. I run into burning buildings. Boy I must be stupid.
