“Sewage issues” still being mopped up in Oakland

Sep 18, 2013, 2:51 PM EDT

Last night the A’s had to avoid part of their dugout because of sewage coming up through the drains–which is an “issue” that’s occurred multiple times in Oakland this season–and Rael Enteen of CSNBayArea.com passes along a photo from this afternoon showing that things are still being mopped up:

Last night after the game A’s reliever Jerry Blevins described the dugout floor as having a “pretty good coating” of sewage. Helluva work environment.

Has the shit finally hit the fans?

jesus. what the hell was it this time? a diaper? at this point, is it fair to wonder whether this is sabotage by higher powers to move this stadium deal along? i don’t recall hearing about problems such as these before and now it’s happened twice in a span of 3-4 months. wtf

That stadium is terrible. I’ve attended both A’s and Raiders games, the stadium has been the last enjoyable part. And I watched Jamarcus Russel.

Can’t wait for this to happen in the playoffs and Selig to survey the scene and tell them, Brownie, you’re doing a heckuva job. That Blue Ribbon panel is doing wonders.

Yeah, they should form a committee or something to see if they can’t get the A’s a new stadium or get them relocated. Too bad there isn’t likelyhood of the Giants having to spend some extra time in the dugouts in Oakland….might send a little extra sewage through their dugout as a ‘thank you’.
