A Giants minor leaguer was suspended for drugs

Stanozolol

From the blotter, a guy who was apparently a big deal in the Dominican Prospect League, but now is doing time in cell block PED.

Eh, that’s kinda lame. I’m trying to go for a Joe Friday thing here, with these guys being the equivalent of Blue Boy. It may take me some time to get the tone right, though:

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that San Francisco Giants Minor League third baseman Nathanael Javier has received a 50-game suspension without pay after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. The suspension of Javier, who is currently on the roster of the Dominican Summer League Giants, will be effective at the start of the 2014 DSL season.

These stories are just getting routine, how about spicing them up , for example the headline for today could be “Giant Drug Suspension In MLB”

The Drug Testing isn’t doing well as it only gets Dominican and Venezuelan propsects taking stuff that is behind the times. The big boys(Barry Bonds,Alex Rodriguez and Roger Clemens) only get caught when there trainers start talking.

MLB thinks it’s doing good but there only getting prospects who are desperate to get out of there countries and not the stars.

And also *they’re. You know that those words are spelled differently, right?

Bonds’ trainer never talked. It’s why Greg Anderson spent time in jail (contempt of court for refusing to testify). Arod was caught because someone leaked his name from the ’03 test results. Clemens trainer outed him.

So you were right on 1/3 accusations.
