Brewers are bringing back manager Ron Roenicke and his coaching staff for 2014

Sep 28, 2013, 9:00 PM EDT

Danny Knobler of CBS Sports with the news:

The Brewers enter play today 73-87, a distant fourth place in the NL Central. Since the Brewers won 96 games and advanced to the NLCS in manager Ron Roenicke’s first year in 2011, the Brewers have declined in wins each of the past two years, but it is difficult to blame him for some or even most of the disappointment.

This really is a great great move. It will have it’s rewards.
