Chris Johnson and Terry Pendleton have made up

Sep 29, 2013, 2:25 PM EST

We now have more clarity on that weird incident from Saturday night that produced this GIF:

source: According to MLB.com’s Mark Bowman, Braves first base coach Terry Pendleton has been warning third baseman Chris Johnson all season about the dangers of recklessly throwing his batting helmet and was rightfully furious after getting struck by one of Johnson’s reckless helmet throws following a groundout on Saturday night. The two have since apologized to each other and Johnson acknowledged to David O’Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Sunday morning that he can behave like “a nut job sometimes.”

Johnson is not in the Braves’ lineup for Sunday’s season-finale, but that’s due to a sore shoulder.

Bad timing on TPs part to act as the Hall Monitor! Killing morale before the playoffs is bad mojo TP!

Johnson has a sore shoulder from:

    A) Backing away from Fernandez as fast as he could after challenging him after his home run
    B) Backing away from Gomez as fast as he could after challenging him after his home run
    C) Sliding into first base
    D) Being shoved by Pendleton
    E) Jerking the shoulder and neck out of joint looking for Brian McCann to jump in the way of Pendleton like he did when A) & B) happened above
    F) Jerking something else
