This will be one of the few times all year that Clint Hurdle has played all his best bats at each position (except for Barmes) in an AJ Burnett start. For some strange reason, Hurdle has drawn up light-hitting lineups most of the year to go against other teams’ #1 pitchers when AJ was pitching.

AJ’s had 7 games this year where the Pirates scored 0 or 1 runs in support. Hopefully the bats will stay alive for today’s game.

Hopefully your bats were all used up on Tuesday! All about perspective. Lol!
Nevertheless…good luck tonight! I expect a hard fought series.

Why isn’t Allen Craig starting for the cardinals?

Foot – may be done for season. Is at least out through the NLDS.

Both managers splitting the righties and lefties all the way through the order. Might make the late inning strategy a little bit more fun.

Can we start now? I’m ready to go!

Me too 87. Leaving work in 45 minutes so I don’t miss the 1st pitch.
Still tore up about the 1:00 P.M. start time tomorrow. it’s horseshit…quite frankly. Lol!

Yeah, it is…but we are used to it…if you don’t face a northeastern or west coast big market team….you get stuck with the shittiest game times….same as always for the first round.

Agreed again. And not just the 1pm start time, but also the fact that it’s on MLB rather than TBS. Grrr….
