Lineups as the Rays try to avoid a sweep …

Red Sox:
CF Jacoby Ellsbury
RF Shane Victorino
2B Dustin Pedroia
DH David Ortiz
1B Mike Napoli
LF Daniel Nava
C Jarrod Saltalamacchia
SS Stephen Drew
3B Will Middlebrooks

SP Clay Buchholz

After facing left-handers in the first two games of the series the Red Sox face right-hander Alex Cobb in Game 3, so manager John Farrell has Daniel Nava in left field instead of Jonny Gomes. Jarrod Saltalamacchia is back behind the plate after giving way to David Ross at catcher in Game 2.

LF David DeJesus
2B Ben Zobrist
3B Evan Longoria
RF Wil Myers
1B James Loney
CF Desmond Jennings
DH Matt Joyce
SS Yunel Escobar
C Jose Molina

SP Alex Cobb

Delmon Young is out of the lineup, as Rays manager Joe Maddon goes with lefty bat Matt Joyce at designated hitter versus Red Sox right-hander Clay Buchholz. Maddon has also switched around some of the middle of the batting order, shifting Wil Myers into the cleanup spot and moving Ben Zobrist into the No. 2 spot.

Missing it to go to a Celtics game tonight. Needless to say they will get me on the jumbotron staring at my phone.

Haha thanks. I think the Sox win this one. The Floating Carpets are falling apart at the wings.
