Tweet of the Day: Mark Teixeira could use some tech help

Oct 22, 2013, 5:42 PM EDT

I dunno why this made me laugh so much, but it’s late in the day and … whatever:

I would make a joke, but as one of the last remaining BlackBerry users phone-related jokes are kind of off-limits to me.

Mark were you using it right handed? Did you text right into the shift again? If Cano wasn’t so lazy I’d tell you to ask him.

Apple has clearly invented the iTimePhone!

NBC just ordered this straight to series: by day he’s solves old crimes from emails sent before email existed, by night he sits on the DL for the New York Yankees.

Thank God Fox didn’t pick it up or we’d have to endure countless promos for it…

“Detective Mark Teixeira will use a most unlikely method to prove that this elderly professor rebroadcasted and retransmitted the 1958 World Series… without the express written consent of Major League Baseball!”

Fantastic! It will be critically acclaimed but will fall miserably in the L+7 ratings for 3 straight weeks, then canceled by week 5…

Wow! That’s a lot of email. Wonder if that’s a Yankee account, maybe he should’ve read some of it during the season and at least earned a portion of that $20 million he got for sitting on the bench.

Texiera has accidentally hacked God’s email account. That’s about how many emails Jim Carrey was getting each day in “Bruce Almighty”.

I wonder if he checks his phone’s mail in that same annoying chin-on-shoulder stance he uses when he hits.

It’s an ios7 bug. Happened to me too on one of my accounts. It goes away after a while, but when it first comes up, I was like, crap, did miss that many emails?

Sounds like he has ALL the emails. Starting from the very beginning. Must have got his account crossed up with the NSA’s.
