Picture(s) of the Day: Yankee Stadium transformed

Jan 25, 2014, 3:11 PM EDT

About a month ago, we saw what Yankee Stadium looked like for the Pinstripe Bowl, so it only makes sense that we check in on the place now that it’s set to host the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils tomorrow in the NHL’s Stadium Series. Here’s a couple of cool shots, courtesy of Andrew Gross of the Bergen Record and John Giannone of MSG Network:

You can catch the game on NBC tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. ET. The expected high temperature is 18 degrees and the wind chill will make it feel just above zero. Baseball, please get here soon.

Very cool seeing the blue shirts at Yankee Stadium. Pretty neat event.

All the seats are so far away! What will the announcers do, call the game by watching TV or wear binoculars on their head the whole time?
