As first reported by beat writer Marc Carig of Newsday, Mets third baseman David Wright will make his Grapefruit League debut this Friday in Port St. Lucie, Florida against the visiting Cardinals.

Wright has been eased into action this spring to minimize injury risk. He missed nearly two months of the 2013 regular season because of a Grade 3 right hamstring strain and finished with his lowest RBI total (58) since he became a full-time major leaguer. The Mets ended 2013 with a record of 74-88.

More and more David Wright is starting to look like Fred Armisen from Portlandia. Amirite?

I dunno who that is, but I am curious about why he packed his cheeks with acorns.

Splitting his chew 50/50 ? heh, that would be odd…

You don’t know, because you’re an idiot Old Felcher.

That’s the best you can do, little feller? Shouldn’t you be studying for your fourth attempt at a GED?

        Shouldn’t you be felching?

What you should be doing is building a grown up vocabulary, you adorable little arrested adolescent, you.

Sorry Old Felcher, I have no interest in obscure sea life and I dont want to repeat the same tired bull$hit about Jeffery Loria, the marlins, etc over and over again.

That has, of course, about as little to do with the subject under discussion on this thread as your juvenile japes ever do.

And there’s nothing “obscure” about Godzilla, chumpster.

I’m not saying David Wright is an ugly dude cause he is not, but he has some odd facial proportions. lol, great player however.

Did you see that he shaved half his head & has a Macklemore-type haircut? Bad look, but regardless of his looks, he did marry the amazingly beautiful Molly Beers this offseason & with Granderson giving him actual left-handed protection in the lineup, I expect a big bounce back year to circa 2006-2008.
