Jason Heyward has earned just over $5 million over his Major League career, and recently inked a two-year, $13.3 million contract extension with the Braves. The outfielder is spreading the wealth, as he bought each of his teammates a Playstation 4, a gift for winning the NL East title last season.

On the box is a card that reads:

Congratulations on winning the 2013 NL East title. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication.

Alex Wood and Chris Johnson both tweeted pictures:

Joey Terdoslavich is still going to be playing Call of Duty on his Xbox, though:

    I didn’t get mine. Hmmm.

That’s awful nice and all, but these guys all make at least hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. I’m guessing if any of them wanted a PS4 they’d probably already own one.

Everyone was waiting for some decent games to be released.

I just FedExed everyone in the Braves organization an original Nintendo Entertainment System with a card that reads:

“Congratulations on not winning the World Series in almost 20 years. Thanks for all of your post-season collapses.”

20 years ago was 1994. The NES was obsolete by then. Hard to believe but true.

Also…. Does the last line mean you’re a Phillies fan? Because they have hardly had more success in the last 20 years than the Braves.

Just trolling the Braves fans. God knows that we Phillies fans get trolled enough on this site.

Except, you know, the Phillies have actually had a lot less success than the Braves have over the past twenty years. But, you know, troll away I guess.

As a Braves fan, I still found that funny. Well played.

Hawk Harrelson would be proud of the demonstration of tWtW. Dude know what it takes to rally men to victory and glory.

Hey it’s Peter Singer, welcome to HBT.

Because you know the man’s personal finances and know for a fact that he has donated a grand total of $0.00 to charity in his career, right? By the way, if you have ever gone to the movies, rented/bought a DVD/bluray, gone to a concert, bought a CD or music download, bought new clothes, or decorations for your home then you decided that you deserve those luxuries more than a starving kid deserves food by your logic.

With these game consoles the Braves will have something to occupy themselves during the 2014 World Series… in which they will not be playing.
