Why is this man happy? Because he is finally able to go hundreds of miles per hour without getting arrested for it:

 

The Dodgers play the Dbacks in Australia on Saturday at 4am. We’re all gonna be up, right?

    LOL that’s a pretty early opener? I say 50/50 people wake up to see…il be listening to it at work at that time so it’s all good

      Fewer than that. It will be at 4 am EDT. It’ll start at 1 am in LA and at 2 am in Arizona. I’m sure those two fan bases will just love opening day.

        In all honesty, I’m usually awake at 1 AM on Saturday anyway.

        …me too, but would you stay awake to see the end of the game? 4 am is tough, even on a Saturday night.

        Its perfect. The bars here close at 2:00 a.m., just when the game starts. Then I can watch the game and take in an EPL match on Saturday morning, then watch the NCAA tourney and collapse in a drunken, disheveled heap until Monday morning.

      Im in Waikiki. This game will start at 10PM! This is amazing. I can actually go to a bar at 10PM and watch a ball game like the old days on the East Coast

    The Cubs and Mets opened a few years back in a similar time slot. It was kind of amusing to watch the end of the game while eating breakfast before work.

      Of course, Benny “Hawaiian Punchless” Agbayani’s pinch hit grand slam in the 11th put kind of a damper on my day, but Chicago fans are used to that.
