Behold: the 18-inch corn dog

Mar 18, 2014, 10:30 AM EST

The latest in extreme ballpark food:

Between this and those stations in Bank One Ballpark where they sell cups of $4 beer, I feel like it may be one of the more underrated junk food ballparks in the majors.

Absolutely disgusting. I’m so glad I’m a clean, healthy eater and exerciser and don’t put this garbage into my body.

    • Rich Stowe - Mar 18, 2014 at 10:39 AM

and yet you darken your heart and soul by being a mets fan?

    • spudchukar - Mar 18, 2014 at 10:54 AM

When did typing vitriolic nonsense become “exercise”?

      • CJ - Mar 18, 2014 at 11:17 AM

he was probably on a treadmill when he commented.

      • jcmeyer10 - Mar 18, 2014 at 11:24 AM

CJ’s right. Treadmill desks are in right now.

      • mckludge - Mar 18, 2014 at 3:12 PM

You haven’t seen his keyboard. It’s 25 feet long and each key requires requires 150 pounds of force to press.

      BSOHL?

“Want an 18 inch corn dog stuffed with cheese and bacon at the ballpark in AZ?”

    No, No, I don’t.

    • stex52 - Mar 18, 2014 at 11:02 AM

After looking at that, kangaroo doesn’t sound so bad.

  3. nymets4ever - Mar 18, 2014 at 10:44 AM

Damn, I hope you fat slovenly tubs of lard didn’t lose too much breath in your rush to downvote me out of spite for being healthier than you. Haha

    • Rich Stowe - Mar 18, 2014 at 10:47 AM

but you’re still a mets fan, so we actually feel bad for you…especially when we realize that your healthy living just means many more disappointing years of living as a mets fan….

    • Tick - Mar 18, 2014 at 10:48 AM

      You’re healthy, but you’re still a dick.

No, it wasn’t a problem at all. A pleasure to use energy downvoting your posts.

Just trying to workout my fingers!

    • shadowcell - Mar 18, 2014 at 3:22 PM

A healthy man doesn’t hang around a message board posting spiteful things and worrying about what anonymous internet people think of him.

  4. Caught Looking - Mar 18, 2014 at 11:13 AM

Bank One Ballpark??? It’s been Chase Field since September 2005.

    • azvikefan - Mar 18, 2014 at 8:08 PM

      I still call it B.O.B.

  5. seanwasamarine - Mar 18, 2014 at 11:14 AM

Bank One Ballpark? Really Craig…is it 2005 or something. Ever heard of Chase Field?

    • infieldhit - Mar 18, 2014 at 12:35 PM

      Ever-changing corporate sponsorship FTW!

  6. temporarilyexiled - Mar 18, 2014 at 11:22 AM

I’ll pass. And if irony shows its laughing face and drop dead right after writing this, I’ll do it $25 richer.

  7. caeser12 - Mar 18, 2014 at 11:39 AM

No I’m good, and I don’t want to see anyone trying to eat anything 18 inches long in public.

  8. chiadam - Mar 18, 2014 at 12:14 PM

Bank One Ballpark? What is Doc Brown like in real life? Is he nice? He looks nice.

Anyway, get back to work blogging about five-cent sasparilla at the Polo Grounds.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY

  10. zdravit - Mar 18, 2014 at 1:10 PM

I wouldn’t mind watching Craig deep throat that.

    • nymets4ever - Mar 18, 2014 at 1:32 PM

      lol

  11. jeffa43 - Mar 18, 2014 at 2:26 PM

    Poor phat Elvis…

Man, Craig has hated the Astros forever…

Craig, as an astros fan I get pleasure out of all your articles. Every column you write, I get to read all the comments that confirm you are a loser, with only your brain as a source of info.

  12. kiwicricket - Mar 18, 2014 at 3:04 PM

    That’s what she said!

  13. yahmule - Mar 18, 2014 at 3:38 PM

Man, just 25 bucks for junk food that looks like Satan’s schloinker. What a deal!

  14. stairwayto7 - Mar 18, 2014 at 5:49 PM

Its been Chase field for over 7 years dude!

  15. gosport474 - Mar 18, 2014 at 8:00 PM

Is that an 18 inch corndog, or are you just happy to see me?
