Not bad. Not bad at all.

HA! That’s nothing. My dad was parked over at the Senior Health Center and when he came out the Phillies had left him instructions to try out for 3B!

I literally lol’d at my desk at work.

It’s fun making fun of the Phillies. Like….a lot of fun. Like, it’s one of the most fun things about the entire sport of baseball.

However, credit where it’s due, this is pretty awesome….I’m sure they’ll screw it up, but for now, it’s cool.

Don’t let the promotion fool you. They are trying to get as many of your concession dollars that they can before April 30th, when they can no longer fool anybody into coming to the park.

They gave me a buy one, get-one free opportunity for up to 8 tickets. This isn’t just a one-off happening.

Remember the days when you had to pay through the nose for Phillies tickets?

    • El Bravo - Mar 24, 2014 at 5:42 PM

I’m in the North Side of Chicago. The Cubs have sucked a tad longer than the Phillies…just a tad…yet the tickets are still going up in price and the fans generally still pay for them. You wouldn’t see this promotion under the Rickett’s dictatorship, that’s for sure. Good on the Phillies. Bad on the Cubbies.

A tad? Really? 2 titles in the last 40 years could be worse.

      • El Bravo - Mar 25, 2014 at 10:25 AM

It was sarcasm. It could be a lot worse indeed… Like no titles in 106 years.

Gotcha. I was at Wrigley and it’s surrounding sports bars last September. Had a great time, definitely a place to see for any baseball fan.

Tomorrow on Reddit. Phils fans leaving tickets on RAJ’s windshield. They even won’t be able to give tickets away for long. The fanbase has caught on, this team’s stuck in purgatory–at best–for a while.

Man has it gotten that bad for the Phillies, that they now have to give away tickets? What 3 years ago you couldn’t get a ticket.

It’s in April. Cold out still, flyers in playoffs. Sixers too lol. Why not try to fill empty seats. They won’t be empty come summer time… Get people in the door, they will spend money

  9. timmons94 - Mar 24, 2014 at 9:16 PM

Wow I read that wrong I thought it was buy 1 get 1 free. That is totally awesome of the phillies

For a team that prides itself on sell outs and jamming the bank, this is sad. 1 bad season and the fans abandon their team. Biggest front running fans reside in Philadelphia. I don’t want to hear about weather either as an excuse. That place had been jammed when they were winning hot/cold, rain or shine.
