Josh Reddick and Sean Doolittle have some Twitter fun with the Coliseum’s flooding problems

The Coliseum is a shambles right now, and has been for quite some time. D.J. Short wrote about the latest flooding earlier today, and we have written about it in the past (September 18, September 21, and another one from September 21). The Coliseum is the fifth-oldest ballpark in baseball behind Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, Dodger Stadium, and Angel Stadium. The A’s badly need a new stadium, but that’s no secret.

While they’re forced to continue playing there, A’s outfielder Josh Reddick and reliever Sean Doolittle had a little fun on Twitter with the latest flood report:

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Or in the case of the Coliseum… wait, I shouldn’t finish this joke.

That’s gotta be a crappy situation to have to play in.

    Don’t poo poo their problems.

      This joke really stinks.

Has Doolittle figured out that an entire nation of middle school boys are laughing at his handle because it mentions doodo?

    • cmtill14 - Mar 30, 2014 at 10:04 AM

      Hahaha you said doodoo. #preschoolhumorforthewin

Seriously though, I just hope they “don’t go chasing waterfalls”. Or would it be mudslides?

No one is going to comment on the fact that his handle is “@whatwouldDOOdo”

No way. You can’t be serious.

@lamborginipercy12- Our friend “renaado” here is from The Philippines. Through the magic of the internet people from all over the world can join our discussions on baseball. This does not mean that they’ve watched all of our classic movies.

@renaada- this is a clip from a classic of American culture, the movie Caddyshack. That’s not a sausage, but a candy bar. Known as a “Baby Ruth” I believe. You are in a wonderful position now. A chance to see, for the first time, Caddyshack. Don’t bother with any of the sequels. Watch only this one. Providing you can follow the plot from a movie made in 1980, you’ll have a great time.

      • renaado - Mar 30, 2014 at 11:48 AM

Your right about that man, I haven’t watch that movie yet but I’m sure I’ll watch it soon :-).

  6. cmtill14 - Mar 30, 2014 at 10:06 AM

@renaada. See the Caddyshack, become the Caddyshack.

    • renaado - Mar 30, 2014 at 11:45 AM

LoL… Well okay I’ll see to it when I have the time.
