Nationals place Scott Hairston on disabled list

Apr 6, 2014, 11:17 AM EDT

The Nationals made a roster change before Sunday’s series-finale against the Braves:

Hairston joins starting pitcher Doug Fister and catcher Wilson Ramos on the Nationals’ disabled list.

And it sounds like third baseman Ryan Zimmerman could be headed there as well.

Maybe it’s just me but it seems there has been an over abundance of injuries this year. So many pitchers in need of Tommy John or straining something that’s gonna make them miss a few weeks to a month. Alot of position players are already headed to the DL and we’re not even a month into the season. Alot of them are dropping like flies

NatsLady made fun of the length of the Phillies disabled list a few weeks back, and it looks like baseball gods took notice and have decided to punish the Nats.
