Reds Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia has been battling a sore wrist for ten days and it has gotten bad enough to where he couldn’t go through hitting drills yesterday. He was thus scratched from last night’s game. Now he’s going to go have his wrist looked at in Boston.

Today the Sox are off and he’s expected to rejoin the team in time for Tuesday’s game. While the Sox are not overly-concerned, perhaps they should be.  Since tweaking his wrist, Pedroia has hit .139 with two doubles and no walks.

Red Sox concern > expressed level of concern

Exactly….and this is the basis for every fan base thinking that their medical staff is chock full of incompetence.

I seem to vaguely recall this from Danny Espinosa last year, his lost last year.

At least they caught it before the little fellow could gnaw his paw off.

Jonny Gomes thinks it is totally unfair for other teams to play with a healthy second baseman if the Red Sox have to play with an injured one. Why is there no justice for the Red Sox??!!

I think he hurt it holding on for dear life when someone tried to steal his pot of gold.

It’s on me. Clipped him with the weed wacker. Swear I didn’t see him.
