VIDEO: George Springer’s first major league hit

Astros outfield prospect George Springer grounded out sharply to shortstop in his first major league at-bat on Wednesday night. In his second trip to the plate, he made it to first base

Springer, a .302/.397/.562 career hitter in the minors with elite-level power and speed, is batting second for the Astros in his major league debut. He scored after that hit on a two-run homer by Jason Castro.
