Yasiel Puig out of the lineup after hitting the wall yesterday

Yasiel Puig is not in the Dodgers’ lineup today, a day after he banged his head, side, and shoulder into the outfield wall yesterday while trying to get to Jeff Baker‘s game-winning RBI double. Puig passed a postgame concussion test and is considered day-to-day, so this is likely just due to soreness and as a general precautionary measure.

Puig is hitting .309/.397/500 on the year.

    Like Dilsey, Puig endured.

As Mr. Scully once put it, he’s day to day, but aren’t we all?

Has the chalk outline been removed from the warning track for the mets/marlins game tonight?

      “What do you think, C?”
“Sometimes you play the wall. Sometimes… the wall plays you.”
      YEEEAAAAHHHH!

Oh my gosh… no snarky, self righteous comment about how Puig is being wronged by the world? CC must be under the weather.

I had my money on McCann’s voodoo doll.

Fantastic effort on the play. Almost kept the game going for another inning! Then either Carlos Marmol or Brandon League would have lost it for their respective teams.

    He disrespected the wall!
