Please don’t make Beep Beep DH unless he only comes up with no one on, no outs.

No, it’s time to bench you

      You tell ‘em!

Clicking “play” and watching it would have been too difficult, huh?

  3. hojo20 - May 7, 2014 at 1:13 PM

    Yes, he sucks.

I’m not sure I like Kay’s new hairstyle.

Better question: Is it time to bench Jonathan Villar, Yunel Escobar, Elvis Andrus, Asdrubal Cabrera, Everth Cabrera, Jean Segura, Jhonny Peralta, Ian Desmond and Zack Cozart — all of whom are hitting worse than the Captain?

You buy a tie like that, I betcha get a free bowl of soup, huh?

    Looks good on you though.

I wanted to learn how to tie a bow tie. Haven’t mastered that yet.

No. Let him play it’s his last season give him the adequate rest and don’t blame him for the teams problems. If they went into the season expecting Jeter to be the guy to carry them then shame on the Yankees for not adequately fielding a proper team. If you have Jeter as just a complimentary player they should have been fine.

If he wants to keep his lifetime batting average above .300, yes

I’m sure there will be lots of help from official scorers this year. Unless a ground ball goes right through a fielder’s legs, it’s going to be scored a hit because it’s Captain Intangibles’ Farewell Tour.

My question is which NL pitcher will be scheduled to throw the meatball pitch he’ll hit for A Home Run In His Final All-Star Game.

Instead of benching him, I would give a 15 day sit down due to the old injured hammie. Don’t humiliate him with a benching, has he ever been truly benched in his career, let him sit down for 2 weeks and get his head together. Maybe not even a full DL stint, just a couple if games and let him praise the trainers for their great work on his first night back. As a Red Sox fan there is nothing I love more than a humiliated Yankee, but Mr. Gift Basket has truly earned my respect on the field, and off for that matter.
