Matt Harvey aims to pitch off a mound on June 10

When Matt Harvey isn’t busy making the scene, giving the finger or shopping, he’s rehabilitating his elbow and looking to make his comeback as a major league pitcher. News in that regard:

Harvey is still claiming to want to return and pitch this season, but it makes no sense for him to even try. But if he is throwing off a mound on June 10, he should be able to do all of his typical offseason work this winter and be 100% for spring training.

He is rushing it against doctors orders one presumes. If not against orders, it seems more pitchers would be back in 9 months from TJ.

Are the Mets letting him do this? and WHY if against doctor orders?

He’s a pretty headstrong young man, but I really think he just loves to compete and can’t wait to get back on the mound. They had to practically force him to have the surgery in the first place.

Now that’s he has that TJ scar, his semi-nude modeling career is likely over.

The scar doesn’t seem to have effected his social life.

      Tell that to his eyebrows.

Really rather he not pitch this season. However, glad the rehab is progressing well. Get back healthy!
