MLB upholds suspensions for Travis Snider and Russell Martin

May 9, 2014, 3:58 PM EDT

Following that Pirates-Brewers brawl on Easter, Pittsburgh’s Travis Snider got suspended for two games and Russell Martin got one game. They appealed. The result?

Maybe they need new lawyers?

Still waiting to hear about Carlos Gomez‘s appeal. I’m guessing he won’t get much of a reduction either, given the helmet throw.

    How’s Snider’s eye doing?

I wonder what the point of appealing a one game suspension is.

      Suspensions are without pay.

I’m thinking there’s a number lower than one that he was hoping for, but I’m looking at my fingers and can’t figure it out.
