Apparently, there was no pneumatic blonde in all of NBC-land willing to play hostess to such a depressing hypothesis.

I think it should be godell please take him and save the nfl

No matter who is the NFL commish, the same decisions would have been made in nearly every instance. Goodell works for the owners, they given him a direction and he takes them there.

Replace Goodell and all you’re going to get is another guy doing what he’s told, taking the league in the exact same direction as Goodell has been told to take it.

I’m going to use this entry to go off topic and simply say

    Cueto

What a start to the season

A pile of lumber? About as smart and more interesting to look at.

Anyone who will get Pete Rose into the Hall of Fame.

The Museum Director could do that right now.

Whether its Manfred, or whomever, if they want “dynamic,” get a new commish who will enforce the per-pitch time limits, and rules about batters not stepping out of the box. Knock 15 minutes off the average game right there. That’s “dynamic” enough for me.

Craig; I lost faith in your predictions in early April when you predicted that Yangerves Solarte would be a flash in the pan and would be riding the bench or gone in a month.

I feel like just about anyone, including Bernie from “Weekend at Bernie’s,” would probably be an upgrade.

    Isaac from the “Love Boat!”

Big deal….it can’t get much worse. There hasn’t been a commissioner in baseball since the Giamatti/Vincent years.

To me, when Selig took over, baseball became a business, not so much a sport….congrats to him….

I can’t wait to hear more from Selig after his retirement, during his silly speech about what he brought to the game…..it will be fun….

    Selig is a joke….
