Someone paid $650,000 for Babe Ruth’s watch

Over the weekend SCP Auctions hauled in $650,108 for a gold watch once owned by Babe Ruth.

According to the auction listing the watch was from the 25th anniversary of Yankee Stadium in 1948. Ruth died in August of that same year.

Also in the same auction, via the Associated Press: Sandy Koufax’s autographed Dodgers jersey sold for $268,664 and Satchel Paige’s Hall of Fame ring sold for $259,642.

      that’s not a bad thing buddy. outside of rice krispy treats (marshmellow dream bar according to them) and birthday cake pops, there is almost no reason to go to starbucks. DDs coffee taste far better for 1/3 the price. and for anyone who’s never tried them…seriously starbucks rice krispy treats taste just like the ones mom used to make. out of this world. you’re all welcome
