    He has 19 home-runs in 51 games. That’s on pace for 68 home-runs and is hitting nearly 1 every 3 games. That’s just insane.

      That’s actually a pace of 60.35.

      Which I sadly know because I spend waaaay to much of my work time figuring out of baseball players are on pace to do.

        Thanks for the correction. I did quite a bit of rounding in my math, and it was very quick math. :)

      But, he already got busted for doing steroids.

      Either A). Steroids don’t matter as much as we thought
      or B). He’s doing waaaaaay better steroids.

    To find the last player to hit at least 19 home runs in his team’s first 51 games, you have to go all the back to…
    …2012.

    Josh Hamilton had 21 in the Rangers first 51 games (he ended up at 43).

    That was sort of disappointing and didn’t kill nearly as much time as I hoped it would.
