One of my favorite No Hitter factoids:

Jose Jimenez no hit the Diamondbacks in 1999
In his second start against Arizona that, he threw a 2 hit shutout.

Jose Jimenez finished the season 5-14 with a 5.85 ERA, the worst by any non-Coors qualifying pitcher
The Diamondbacks lead the league in runs scored with 908.

That’s why I love baseball. On a given day, arguably the worst pitcher in baseball can no-hit the best offense in the game.

Yeah I stopped believing the no-no hype after Edwin Jackson’s messy 8-walk nonsense against the Rays in 2010.
