UPDATE, 11:06 p.m. ET: The Brewers announced that the fan — identified as a male — was “conscious and alert” on the way to Froedtert Hospital, via Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

I am at the game. Fan fell from restaurant area into Brewers bullpen while Brandon Kintzler was waking up… probably 15 – 20 feet.

While the first responders were hand carrying the fan strapped to the backboard across the warning track, one guytripped over his own feet and dropped the injured fan. THEN the ambulance cart came into the field.

From this morning’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel…

A Milwaukee Brewers fan was injured Tuesday night at Miller Park after he fell over the railing of Friday’s Front Row Sports Grill restaurant into the bullpen, a Brewers official said.

Emergency personnel arrived at the bullpen as Brewers reliever Brandon Kintzler was warming up to pitch in the eighth inning against Minnesota.

The man was conscious and alert and taken to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, Brewers spokesman Tyler Barnes said.

“He was on the ground before I started warming up,” Kintzler said after the game. “I thought he died. We were sitting there and (bullpen catcher) Marcus (Hamel) yelled, ‘Oh, gosh!’ We saw the net (over the bullpen area) come flying down. I think the net caught him, then he just face-planted. He didn’t move for a few minutes. I thought he was dead.

“It’s not something you want to see. They’re basically giving this guy CPR and I had to warm up. It was tough. It’s not the best thing to see at the time.

“It took him awhile to start moving his fingers. We didn’t want to touch him for a while because he was motionless. He tried to get up after that and the paramedics told him to stay down. Security called the paramedics and they were there pretty quick.”

Drunkin Sconi…..probably not the first time he’s taken a drunkin spill and it probably won’t be the last. I think it’s actually a sport in Wisconsin.

Classy. Maybe next time post with your real name because, you know, you’ve got stones.

Conscious and alert…not so much when he fell.

Glad he’s ok! However, this most likely resulted from the fan Googling “Farm Raised Tilapia” post meal, after which he proceeded to jump from the balcony!

Why take pictures? What good does that do? Did he know he was alive and OK?

This society is so numbed and focused on posting and sharing every thing they see they completely lose touch with reality.

Yesterday a car jumped a barrier and ignited on 75 in Dallas. Tens of people flooded out of their cars and to the scene, what did they do? They broke out their cameras and filmed the driver burning to death.

The fire chief was in tears describing the scene, begging people to grab water bottles, anything to throw on the person to relieve any pain as the person passed.

Nope, he said ONE person helped. The rest made sure to get a good video.

    Disgusting.

Maybe he was getting a head start on celebrating this:

Next time, he’ll make sure to sit in the second row at the Front Row Grill.

sorry, not to be insensitive, but…good gawd, what’s a Froedtert? only in wisconsin can you find the answer to a question like that, or hear a name like that!

the guy apparently didn’t get the message that read, “WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE: leaning over the railing after consuming a few brewskis in the front row could lead to serious face plants.” only in milwaukee!

Sometimes you just can’t get out of the dump known as TGIFridays fast enough. Can’t say I blame the guy.
