Photo of the Day: Yasiel Puig wore a snake today

Jun 11, 2014, 2:42 PM EDT

He walks 47 miles of barbed wire,
Use a cobra-snake for a necktie,
He got a brand new house up on the roadside,
Made from rattlesnake hide,
He got a brand new chimney made on top,
Made out of a human skulls,
Come on now respect the game with him,
And tell him, who do you love?

Well, what else is there to do in Cincinnati before a night game?

Anybody who has ever owned a constrictor. will tell you that they love to wrap around your next. nice looking snake.

      Your next what?

      • nothanksimdriving123 - Jun 11, 2014 at 3:01 PM

Big: if your parents didn’t tell you “next what” there are now websites you can visit. Don’t be embarrassed.

you really struggling that much with your deducting reasoning ability?

        he obviously meant neck…

We ALL make typos… even you have… so we know how what he did happened.

your response, on the other hand, was NOT a typo… and even though you make them, you still had to rag on him for doing something you do…

sportsfan18: “Deducting reasoning?” Using a gerund as an adverb is kind of strange. Or was that a typo?

    • Old Gator - Jun 11, 2014 at 4:41 PM

Yeah, very nice specimen. Nice color. Healthy too. They like the warmth of people, even Republicans.

      • papalurchdxb - Jun 12, 2014 at 12:25 AM

Aw come on, we all know Republicans are cold-blooded too.

Red tail boas are very tame.

    • Old Gator - Jun 11, 2014 at 4:40 PM

      Unless you’re a white rat.

      • jerze2387 - Jun 11, 2014 at 6:09 PM

Keep Sammy Gravano out of this

      • yahmule - Jun 11, 2014 at 6:14 PM

I like snakes and rats equally well. That’s why my ownership of a Burmese python when I was a kid didn’t last very long.

      • sportsfan18 - Jun 11, 2014 at 6:24 PM

So you’re saying that black rats are OK?

      • Old Gator - Jun 11, 2014 at 10:56 PM

Pet shops don’t generally sell them as feeders. It’s considered herpetologically incorrect or some such thing.

Keep him away from the fruit bat exhibit. He will probably start trying to flip them.

    Love the Bo Diddley reference.

    • dluxxx - Jun 11, 2014 at 4:45 PM

It took me about 3 lines to catch it. For a second I thought it was a new “Most Interesting Man In the World” commercial…

    • nolanwiffle - Jun 12, 2014 at 8:45 AM

George Thorogood & The Delaware Destroyers do a nice job with that one as well.

  5. musketmaniac - Jun 11, 2014 at 5:03 PM

  6. musketmaniac - Jun 11, 2014 at 8:08 PM

thanks sportsfan. and yes a I felt like a bonehead when I saw the error.

  7. Jason @ IIATMS - Jun 11, 2014 at 9:12 PM

Someone’s going to tell him he’s not holding a snake the right way, and that he has no respect for the snakeholders who came before him.
