It could mean a trip to the DL. Yesterday, Brett Cecil had the same injury. Also today, Adam Lind had to leave the game after fouling a ball off his foot. On a more positive note, Sergio Santos came off the DL today and Colby Rasmus is expected to come off the DL on Tuesday.

So I’m pretty sure I shouldn’t bring this up but last week in one of the ATH threads I questioned why the Jays haven’t run into their typical injury bug problems. And a week later in the series against the O’s? Done did bit ’em. Hopes it’s nothing major for Dickey or Lind. We all want to beat our competition at the top of their game, right?

Let me guess another unearned run due to a passed ball?
If so, why is that one pitcher in all MLB can be allowed to take advantage of this archaic rule?
He chooses to throw the knuckleball, therefore its his and his ERA’s problem if the catcher can’t handle the pitch.
