Dylan Hernandez of the L.A. Times reports that Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig has been playing through hip tightness over the last two weeks. Puig suffered the hip injury trying to break up a double play on June 7 against the Rockies.

Puig clarified to the media that he isn’t feeling pain, just tightness, and that the injury hasn’t worsened since. The injury may be affecting Puig at the plate, as he has posted a .645 OPS in 49 plate appearances since the game against the Rockies.

Overall, Puig is having a great season, slashing .324/.413/.544 with 11 home runs and 44 RBI in 302 plate appearances.

I think it has to be the angle he puts his body in at the height of his bat flips…

All of these bat flips are finally catching up to him and it’s taking its toll…

I think all he needs to do is alternate hands he uses when he flips his bat… even out things for his body…

    Yeah, that’ll do it…

Puig better watch some bat flip clips at the Mykbonet site… He could learn a thing or two from the “pros” in flippin.

Thank you for understanding it was all said tongue in cheek…

Way too many folks are wound up way too tight…

They should relax… and take in a ballgame.

You must be thinking of PBT. Around here people are not so uptight now that the most uptight have been banned.

For the love of God or whatever deity you worship, can you stop posting like this…

I’m like “hey he’s making a point about a sports topic and I agree with it”….

Then you jump to the next point and I guess every thought is left incomplete…

It makes me want scissor kick you back to the Stone Age…

Yeah, and your name is “Hard on for Harden”, which engenders a lot of respect for your opinion I would imagine.
