VIDEO: Nelson Cruz hits a game-tying grand slam

Jun 25, 2014, 11:14 PM EST

Watch as Orioles designated hitter Nelson Cruz ties Wednesday night’s game against the White Sox with one swing of the bat on a grand slam in the bottom of the eighth inning

It started raining in Baltimore soon after that blast and the tarp was called for after the bottom of the ninth with the score still 4-4, but play eventually resumed and the O’s won it in the 12th. Cruz boasts 24 homers and 64 RBI in 76 games this season. He was signed to a bargain one-year, $8 million deal in February.
