VIDEO: Paul Goldschmidt hits walkoff two-run double

Jul 9, 2014, 7:10 PM EDT

Watch as Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt sent his team to a Wednesday afternoon walkoff defeat of the visiting Marlins with this two-run double to left-center field …

It was the fifth career walkoff hit for Goldschmidt, who’s batting .312/.404/.558 with 61 RBI in 92 games this season for the Diamondbacks. Arizona (39-54 on the year) won two of three against Miami.

Watched the entire fiasco. Steve Cishek came in to cover a two run lead in the bottom of the tenth and couldn’t get anybody out – a walk and three straight hits, capped by Goldschmidt’s double. A totally wasted gem by Eovaldi. Looks like the Feesh are going to be sellers at the deadline – the whole team to Mark Cuban, I wish.
