Nolan Reimold is hurt again

Nolan Reimold was expected to play a significant role for the Blue Jays amid the injuries to Edwin Encarnacion and Adam Lind, but now he’s headed back to the disabled list with a left calf strain.

Reimold suffered the injury while running the bases during last night’s game. The 30-year-old was claimed off waivers from the Orioles earlier this month and went 4-for-12 (.333) with three doubles and three RBI over his first four games with Toronto.

Reimold showed some promise early on in his career, but a pair of neck surgeries limited him to just 56 games between 2012-2013. He continues to have some pretty rotten luck on the health front.

Always been a fan of his. If only he could stay healthy he could be a top 10 outfielder IMO.

I love the sound of breaking glass, signed Nick Lowe!

He has hit very well in his short stint with the Jays. I suspect that he will be OK before the 15 days are up; however, with other players banged up, the Jays decided to put him on the DL and call up Gose.

Toronto. We feel your pain. Signed Baltimore.

He always would hit and look like a top 10 outfielder. Then immediately get hurt. Such rotten luck.
