UPDATE: OK, maybe the Marlins aren’t going to trade for John Lackey.

If the Sox are truly dealing Lackey, everyone should be talking to them given how little he’ll make in 2015. But right now it’s the Marlins:

Lackey had a couple of bumpy years in Boston, but he has posted a 3.55 ERA over 50 starts since the beginning of last season for the Sox, turning into one of the more reliable mid-rotation starters in all of baseball.
