UPDATE: The Price trade may be a three-way between the Rays, Tigers and Mariners

Jul 31, 2014, 3:19 PM EST

UPDATE: The plot thickens!

UPDATE: More reporters weighing in on Price. Bob Nightengale of USA Today says that the Pirates, Mariners and Tigers are all in on Price. Mark Feinsand echoes Morosi from earlier, saying the Tigers are the front runners. Multiple reporters have said the Yankees have talked to the Rays about Price but that they are not serious contenders.

UPDATE: At least one reporter is putting the Tigers in the hunt:

That would be one heck of a big-name rotation if it went down.

2:31 PM: Drip, drip, drip . . .

My earlier post about conflicting information notwithstanding, the weight of online opinion by reporters who presumably have sources seems to be drifting in the direction of Price being moved.

Stay tuned.
