    Yep.. it literally killed my love for the game. Didn’t play little league because of it and pretty much stopped watching altogether until a few years ago.

    When local food/service worker unions strike at MLB ballparks, do the players “union” members honor their union brothers and sisters and not cross the picket line?

      Not likely. I have a friend who worked part-time in concessions at Three Rivers Stadium, at Pirates and Steelers games. When the concessions employees’ union went on strike, the players ignored them.

    On a totally unrelated subject. Today (April 15) is the 45th anniversary of the beginning of the Woodstock Festival. I am sure that Craig’s parents remember it well.
