    DeGrom! I know, the injury has basically ensured he just won’t get enough total playing time, which is a shame, because he’s been really strong. But just over 100IP isn’t going to get it done. Oh well.

    NL is Hamiliton or McHugh. Familia would be in the running if he had “saves.”

    Familia: 65 1/3 IP, 1.93 ERA, 3.19 FIP, 1.18 WHIP

    Looks like Jim Johnson 2012 RROY: 68 2/3 IP, 2.49 ERA, 3.26 FIP, 1.02 WHIP

    Btw did they stop that award? They should bring it back and give it to the best reliever not the best closer. Or rename is Rolaids Closer of the Year.

    The “he played elsewhere, is he a Real Rookie?” debate goes back at least to Nomomania in 1995.
